NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a hearing will be held by Packer Township Board of Supervisors on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. at the Packer Township Municipal Building, 2234 Hudson Drive, Weatherly, PA 18255 to hear and possibly act on the following:

An Application/Petition of the Greater Hazleton Community-Area New Development Organization, Inc. a/k/a CAN DO, Inc. to amend the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map of Packer Township, Carbon County, PA. The property owner, CAN DO, Inc. is applying to change the Packer Township Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map of Packer Township from C-1 Conservation Zoning District to I-1 Light Industrial Zoning District for Tax Parcel ID: 131A-4-A7 and Tax Parcel ID: 131-46-B23.02.

Township Burn Ban in Effect

UPDATE: The burn ban for Packer Township was lifted on 05/04/2025

Due to recent brush fires, continuing dry/windy conditions and for the safety of the residents and 1st responders, the Packer Township Supervisors have called a burn ban in the township. We will keep you posted of when the ban will be lifted. Thank you!
