Military Share Program

The American Legion Post 360 and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 360 in conjunction with Second Harvest Food Bank will conduct a Military Share Program distribution at the post home. The program is designed to provide nutritious foods for families with a least one member who has served or is currently serving in the armed forces and resides in Carbon County. Each eligible family member will receive fresh produce, milk, eggs, meat and a box of non-perishable food items. Monthly drop-off will be the fourth Thursday of each month. Auditors are needed to fill vacancies on the Packer Township Board of Auditors. The main duty of the Board of Auditors is to complete the annual Township audit by April 1st. Time commitment is approximately 20-30 hours and is compensated. Candidates must be residents and registered voters of Packer Township. AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY UNIT 360 HAPPENINGS

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 360 in Weatherly will hold their first unbaked pizza sale of the 2022 year on Friday January 28, 2022.  Pick-up is 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the post home. The deadline to order is January 21, 2022.   A regular pizza is $11.00 and a $1.50 for each additional topping of extra cheese, 3 cheese, mushroom, sausage and pepperoni. Contact Georgia Farrow at 570-427-4527 to order your pizza. The auxiliary will also be collecting full size body washes and shampoos for female veterans for the month of January and February. If anyone would like to donate , please contact Georgia Farrow at 570-427-4527. The items can also be dropped off at the monthly pizza sales. The other upcoming monthly unbaked pizza sales: February 25, 2022 and March 25, 2022.
